Apple AirPods or AirPods pro?

Anyone have any thoughts? $100 price difference. They are for a gift for my DH.

Good luck finding the pros. Apple store says they aren’t available until mid January. I got a pair recently from Best Buy but then tried to get a second one and now they seem to be sold out too.

I have the gen 2s (wireless charging case) and love them. DH insists he wants the pros and the cost is worth it for the noise canceling feature.

So the wireless charging case isn't available either. Is it even worth it to get the ones with the wired charging case?

I got the pros a few weeks ago at the Apple store near the convention center in DC. Love the noise canceling function and they actually fit better in my ears than the regular airpods.

Have not tried the pros. I have regular AirPods and like them because they do NOT cancel noise. I like hearing what's around me most of the time. The pros have a "transparency' function that's supposed to do the same thing. I also like how the regular AirPods are hanging lightly in my ear and not "stuck" in.
