4 year old wakes up at 5am was deleted? Why?

Why was it locked and deleted? Some of us were giving real advice? Is OP that much of a snowflake to ask that it be deleted? If you read this OP, and if you asked that it be locked, how are you actually living in the real world?

To be honest, I didn't read a single post in the thread. But, if you are representative of those replying, I can understand why the OP wanted it deleted.

Can’t tell if this is satire.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

I was not. I only turned a bit sour here. I asked about anemia, vitamin D deficiency and if there could be some anxiety as kid is getting ready for school when meltdowns happen. But, now I think those other pps were right to point out to her that she is expecting impossible by trying to get her kid to sleep for 13 hours straight!

I am guessing you did not read the thread or you are the op. Many people gave valid advice and none that I saw were offensive, just pointed out that it is unrealistic that a 4 year old would sleep 13-14 hours at one stretch. What was OP expecting? Jeff, you should read the thread, it was as mild as it gets for dcum.

Not on my part. She wanted to figure out how to get her kid to sleep longer at night, when pps pointed out that he is sleeping over 11 hours at one stretch and that they do not know other kids who sleep longer at that age. She then jumped off and accused people of being mean to her. I followed the thread and did not see any mean posts, just that she needs to realize that nobody can offer advice on how to get you 4 year old to sleep 13, 14 hours in one stretch. If she can't take that advice, what advice can she take? I am only calling her snowflake after she accused people of being nasty(which they were not) and deleting it. By that I stand.

Come on. She wanted the kid to sleep from 7-7?

OP was off. She got good advice.

Well, longer actually. She wrote that he falls asleep at 6pm and wakes up at 5:15am and how to get him to sleep till past 7! And that he is grouchy by 8am. I wish Jeff read it, we were all truly pretty nice to her.

Not a snowflake, but a mule? It was one of those rare occasions where there's a DCUM consensus and therefore we are all meanies.

She insisted kid needs 14 hours of straight sleep at age 4, and considered waking him up at 3am in order to try to get him to sleep past 5:15am.

I feel sorry for the poor kid.
