Anyone belong to a CSA? looking for recs for a NW DC/Bethesda/Chevy Chase CSA

If you are on the Chevy Chase listserv, do a search there because I posted the same question back in Sept and got several helpful replies. If you're not on the listserv, if you post an email address, I would be happy to share with you some of the responses I got. All the CSAs I contacted deliver to the three areas you listed. Most are about to start with their memberships for next year.

We're on the waitlist for spiritualfood CSA and have been lucky enough to buy other members' shares almost weekly since October, and we're really enjoying it.

We are in Kensington, just outside of Bethesda, and are in an organic CSA--Sandy Springs, I think. This was our first year. The pickup is on Wednesdays not far from the intersection of Knowles and Connecticut, but I think they also have pickup in Bethesda, and they may do home deliveries for a fee. We got lots of potatoes, broccoli, herbs, apples, cabbage, kale, green peppers, squash, green beans, and other things (can't remember right now--I think DH kept a list). We generally got more than we could eat of veggies, but not much fruit. We knew that going in to it. We also received apple cider a couple of weeks. We are a family of 4, but two are under 5. We will definitely do it again, but will try to plan our meals better so we don't let food go to waste (we did give some away). DH is out but I'll try to post back more info later.
