I am so sorry. I did not know her but I am sorry for the loss. It is always sad when
someone from the performers we like die. It is like a distant relative that we really
liked is gone. Even if it is not immediate family, the loss is still felt.

That's a shame, she was only 61 and had been battling brain cancer for 17 years. I wasn't even aware that she was sick although I listened to one of her songs just this past weekend.
