Hi - I have made is this far without tights, but really need them now! I'm 8 months pregnant, so they don't need to have a very long lifespan, but would like some decent quality ones that won't be too expensive. Thanks!
Just get the target brand tights (A New Day- I think) in a size or two bigger and without control top. They are not constricting and you should be able to wear under your belly just fine.
Omg no, this sounds like torture at 8 months pregnant. Just get 2 pairs of cheap maternity ones. Unless you need them daily, that should suffice. |
PP here. I had a terrible time with maternity undergarments. Nothing fit right over my stomach. The regular stuff just bigger generally worked the best- provided it wasn't spanx or something too tight. I think Target also has maternity tights so those shouldn't be too expensive.
try Oldnavy or H&M both are online.
Skip maternity tights and just wear thigh highs. (I generally hate those, but someone suggested it to me and it was a godsent.)
I love the pair of Assets by Spanx maternity tights that I bought from Target. Comfy, great fabric, and they stay up. Wish they would do a better job of keeping them in stock.
Old Navy worked for me. No see through at all.
I just wore maternity leggings and tucked them into booties. EFFFFF maternity tights. For some reason when I was pregnant pants and tights upset my stomach. I just couldn't stand any pressure on my stomach.
I bought the Ingrid and Isabel and Spans Mama ones. Both kinda stunk - too loose - but I bought based on the size chart. Anyway, I don’t really think what’s out there is that great. Just buy whatever to get you through the next month.
I've been happy with both Gap and Loft maternity tights.
I am plus-sized and I have loved these tights for years. |
target and motherhood on sale. i bought a size up as comfort was more important to me than how it looked.
