Seeking Christmas Eve Mass in Arlington/Falls Church

Anonymous
I could have sworn that my parish had a Mass at 7pm on Christmas Eve. Instead it's the 5pm children's Mass and then the 10:30pm "midnight mass".

We are pregnant (no kids yet), so want to avoid the craziness of the children's mass. So, any thoughts on where in north Arlington or nearby might have an early evening Mass without having to be out late for the midnight services?

TIA!

The churches to try:

St. Charles Borromeo, Clarendon
St. Agnes, Arlington
St. Ann's, Arlington
St. James in Falls Church
St. John's in Mclean on Old Dominion
St. Luke's on Georgetown Pike, Mclean

PS Better get used to a crazy kids mass fast, if you are pregnant!

Just looked at St. James in Falls Church (my parish) and it has 7, 9, and midnight masses + 5pm Kids Mass

I can be of no help - but just wanted to say please don't go to the children's mass. Enjoy your last moments of childfree quiet bliss! Your will join the chaos soon enough.

Thanks, all. We grew up going to kids' masses, and occasionally still go if there are no other options because the time is convenient. But, without kids of your own, they really are tough to take!! LOL

anyway, St. James is perfect -- location and time.

thanks and Merry Christmas!!
