Toddler hunter boot sizing

There's a good sale on these today. I measured according to their size chart and came up a fill size smaller than DS's other shoes. Is this typical? Do Hunter boots run large for kids? My own set are true to size.

Yes- the run bigger in my experience.

Run bigger and if you're getting them to wear bleue, size up anyway for wellie socks

I wouldn’t size down though! My kids just wear them for a lot longer than they do their other shoes. Dd wore her US 5 from sneaker size 4-6 and now she has a US 7 that she started wearing when she was still in size 6 sneakers and will probably keep wearing through size 8.

Gotta make sure that Hunter brand name is visible so everyone knows your 2 year old has $50 rain boots.
