Inn at Perry Cabin

Thinking about going for a one-night getaway without the kids next week. Has anyone stayed there during the winter? Are there nice places to sit in front of a fire and have a glass of wine? I've been to its counterpart in Charlottesville (Keswick Hall), which had wonderful sitting areas, and I'm hoping for something similar.

Oh yes, it's very cozy and has a wonderful bar menu! I think it's much nicer than Keswick Hall...the former owner was married to Laura Ashley so the rooms are all dolled up that way. The property is beautiful and you can go shopping in the town nearby. There's also a snooker room/game room if you guys are up for that.

There's also a brand new spa if you're into that - and the views of the water are amazing. The rooms actually have lovely seating areas as well. Plus, St. Michaels is a lovely town with beautiful little shops and good restaurants.
