The nightmare that is package concierge

Anonymous
Does anyone receive packages where they live via the package concierge locker system? I have had repeated problems with the system (missing packages, receiving packages that don't belong to me, etc) to the point where the service should be disbanded. 20 percent of the packages that are sent to my household don't show up. Granted, it is due in part to dishonest neighbors who receive the packages in error and choose to be dishonest and not return them, but ultimately the responsibility falls on the faulty locker system and the overworked delivery drivers.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, I am contemplating having all of my items delivered to the store for pickup.

All my packages come to a shared locker room. Only had one item go missing and it turned up the next day after the neighbors in the building over walked to my place!

I’m sorry baby.

Hi I am reaching out from Package Concierge. I'm sorry that you are experiencing difficulty receiving all of your packages through the locker system. You can reach me at daniel.hanson@packageconcierge.com if you'd like to discuss this further. We want to help you resolve this issue.

What the hell are you doing on DCUM Daniel and how did you respond so quick?!

I like package concierge, never had any issues, though I don’t like the annual fee.

We have had this system for a month now and it is a total waste of money. Our HOA signed up with package concierge to reduce package theft in our building, but now the delivery drivers are just dumping all the packages in the vestibule where they can get stolen by people walking by on the street. PC promised our HOA that delivery drivers are very familiar with the system and would be educated on how to use it, but none of the drivers that come here know (or care) how to use it so they just dump the packages and run. If they do get into the mailroom, the packages are not scanned individually as promised, therefore we do not get a message that we have a package and cannot get into the mailroom to retrieve it. Our owners are furious.

It's horrid. We are forced to pay to not get out packages. We also have to drive to the leasing office just to get them and this is when they actually put them in a locker and not just throw them of the floor to be stolen. Waiting for the class action lawsuits.

I’ve lived in two buildings with it and aside from one locker not opening because it was a little bent, I’ve never had any issues.

One of my neighbors calls this the least positive solution to package handling ever invented!!! It’s out of service yet again…. It’s honestly terrible.

I live in an apartment now that feels so much more like a home than a hotel. The packages come straight to my door.
