I know I've read about nail polish not being great, period, due to some of the toxins, fumes, etc. Is anyone familiar with any that are less toxic, maybe more "natural" - as natural as something like this could be, right? I have a ton of weddings to attend in the next few months and I'm in search of new makeup and nail polish to spice things up a bit.

I doubt a non-toxic nail polish exists, but I've also never heard there's any risk in getting your nails polished during pregnancy. I've certainly done it during both my pregnancies. |
try zoya

Elizabeth Arden at Friendship Heights have switched their nail polish brand in the past several months for a non-toxic one. |
I think toluene (sp?) is one of the "bad" chemicals/fumes. I bought a Sally Hansen nail polish that's toluene-free (and I use it only once in a while, with the window open!) Aveda also has nail polish, but I'm not sure how different the ingredients are. |
I heard about this
