Seth Myers Netflix

A perfectly enjoyable hour of standup. I heard him do the lobby baby story when the baby was 48 hours old and it was hilarious. It loses a little as he re-tells the story but still, a funny hour.

Iove him. A Closer Look makes me laugh out loud.

Agree, OP, I had heard the story at least once and it was still a great bit. The rest of the show was funny also.

Love him to although he’s responsible for trump. So not perfect.

But he did put amber Ruffin on camera, so that redeems him.

Seth’s continued anti-trump features and jokes are actually well produced and some extremely thorough. He’s not just phoning in a joke-of-the day. I don’t know how you could conclude otherwise.

It was a great show.

Just heard the replay of his Stern interview on the way in this morning. Really made me want to see his Netflix special. Might need to join Netflix for a month to knock off the stuff I want to see there.

Loved the end with his wife’s point of view. Really well done.

I’m not the PP, but I assume she’s referring to the theory that Meyers roasted Trump so badly during a WH Press Correspondents’ Dinner (at which Obama also chided Trump), that Trump decided to show them by running for President.

I enjoyed it. I found the "dopey husband" / "nagging wife" trope a little tired but he at least did it in a respectful, loving way.

I was expecting to be underwhelmed by this bit -- but his doing her POV and twist was very creative.

Yup. Said tongue in cheek (sort of). Trump has a huge, fragile ego. Melania probably pushed him over the edge because apparently she was so sick of him talking about running, she threw down the gauntlet by telling him to put up or shut up (in an obsequious manner of course). Trump doesn’t like women who talk back.

Thanks for posting about the Stern interview! Not a regular listener but love his interviews with people I like. Listened on the way out of town, long and very good.

It’s a decent Netflix show, but there are a million better comedy specials on Netflix. He’s not even close to the best comics.
