| This is our first year with both private music and group swim instruction. While I'm not made of money, I'm happy to do something to say thank you to our teachers, who we very much appreciate. Would you do the same thing or something different for the private vs. group instructor(s)? |
| No |
OP here, and to clarify - what do you do, if anything, for the teachers of your child's music/swim/karate/whatever class, assuming its a relatively long-standing relationship (i.e. the better part of the year) that will continue into the future? |

We have done this, usually a $25 gift card inside a holiday card.
When we've had fewer teachers working with our kids, they sometimes get more. We based the $25 on the idea they might get this from 10 or more students. |

I am doing a gift card for my kids piano teacher. $25 ( DD started in Sept)
when we did swim lessons i did $25 to her teacher even thoug it was a group lesson because she had him for almost a year and he was really good with her. Dd does Jiu Jitsu and i made the head coach a jiu jitsu ornament specific to his belt color. Will not do a monetary gift as well. |
| Yes, we love to give a little something to brighten their day. A small Starbucks giftcard or a box of candy. Just a bit of something. |
