Tons of discharge leading up to FET

Anonymous
I have my FET later today and I have had a ton of clear discharge, some watery, some super stretchy for the last few days. I know it’s probably from elevated estrogen levels, but I also keep having a bit of PTSD from my last transfer when I bled a lot and a massive hematoma caused miscarriage at 8.5 weeks.

Can someone remind me if this type of discharge is normal? I feel like my understanding of normal pretty much went out the window after my experience last time...

Normal, in my experience (3 FETs).

Good luck, OP!

I vaguely remember having this ovulating-type symptom too.

OP, how did your FET go?

Thanks for asking- very well! Lining looked great, embryo was hatching. This isn’t my first rodeo, so I know all of that can mean nothing, but I feel good with what I know we can control. I did laugh in the face of the discharge nurse when she said “have you done an FET before?” Let’s see: two live births, two miscarriages, a chemical and a handful that didn’t work. (You would think I wouldn’t freak out about tons of discharge but it’s like I forget every time what it was like before...)

Any news OP? Hoping you have something to be thankful for!

BFN. Blood work Monday. Now trying to decide if I should do an ERA (even though I’ve become pregnant 5 times through ivf/FET with two lives births, it could be we’re just getting lucky with hitting the front or tail end of my window due to changing transfer time of day) or just chalk it up to the odds. We chose not to test embryos, in part bc I was very young when they were created and there were so many of them, plus our cause of infertility was tubal. Just rambling now, but seems our options are 1- do an ERA, 2- remove a fibroid that is large but intramural and endocrinologist and OB both don’t see infringing on uterine cavity or 3- keep on trying with our remaining 4 embryos as we have been?
