| I know i am not going to stop drinking over the holidays. But what drinks should I choose. vodka soda, light beer? anything else that is generally low in calories and weight loss sabotage? |
| I would stick to vodka and seltzer. Skip the beer and wine. |
| Vodka soda is your best bet. Beer (even light) is liquid bread. Soda is preferred over tonic. |
At the risk of sounding like a basic b*tch, I like black cherry White Claw. It only has about 100 calories and because it's mostly water, you don't feel crazy dehydrated the next day. And it doesn't have the tannins/sulfites of red wine.

I mean you are probably right in terms of calories and carbs. But at some point its not worth drinking anymore
|
| tequila and soda with a squeeze of lime. red wine. |
honestly, any amount of drinking makes me lose inhibition when it comes to eating. So it's not only the calories in the drink, but also the "I need some fries and don't give a damn" that comes with it.

+1 |
| I like the 70 calorie malibu with Diet Coke. Obviously not for you if you avoid artificial sweetners but I enjoy it! |
Oh my, this! +100 |
|
No, not soda, terrible advice, actually.
https://physiqonomics.com/alcohol/ My personal favourite is margharita with erythritol/stevia instead of sugar. Or prosecco/lambrusco. |
True, which is why my weight crept back up!
|
| I would go with Diet Coke + Something. |
| I meant Coke Zero Plus Something. |
I mean I guess I would rather have a decent craft beer, or a glass of decent wine, or even a more intereting cocktail, once or twice a week, than a vodka and seltzer four or five times a week. |
