We currently live in DC but are considering a move to Bethesda area. My daughter will be eligible for PreK-4 in 2020, but I can't seem to find any information on if that is even an option through MoCo schools. Do any schools have PreK-4 or do most parents put their kids in private preschools at this age? I'm also interested in Spanish immersion- both through the county and private in the Bethesda area.
Thanks in advance for any info! |
There is no free preK in Montgomery County, unless you qualify for Head Start. Guaranteed free education begins in K in MoCo.

MCPS does have language immersion programs in case you are interested which begin at K:

I would wait one more year and take advantage of free preK in DC.
DD attends a private Spanish immersion preschool in Rockville by White Flint. Whole Kids Academy, it's a great school. Offers aftercare for K-5 also.
No, nothing close to bethesda. Move house or go to Argentinian Saturday school or WIS private school.
Spring bilingual in Kensington
Communikids is an option
