There sure seem to be a lot of posts about whether their DC got in, didn't get in (I refuse to call this "rejected" as this implies a judgment of our DC), and waitlisted. Although we may be a small portion of the total applicant pool, perhaps visitors to this forum can at least agree among themselves, once they've decided where they want to go, to promptly inform the schools that they've turned down or remove themselves from any waitlists. I've seen all these posts about people going 0 for 4, 0 for 9, etc. If promptly notifying schools of your decision speeds up the process even a day for some hopeful family to get off a waitlist, that would be a wonderful thing.
