My mom came and made soup, and these are leftover, didn't realize they were soaking this long. Are they ruined? I want to make a white bean puree to have with pot roast tonight.

Were they in the fridge?
If so, I'd probably rinse them very well, and smell them. If they smell fine, they are probably fine. If they've been sitting on the counter all week -- I think they'd probably smell a bit fermented. I doubt they would injure anyone eating them, but they probably wouldn't taste good. |
| I would toss them if it's been a week, even in the fridge. They're just beans, not an expensive ingredient that I'd be upset about wasting. |
| Just go buy some canned beans. |
