Errands you can do drive -thru

Do you have a favorite errand you can run without getting out of your car? I am trying to compile a list of places in the area where you can run your errands without waking up your sleeping child or drag multiple children out of the car. Please don't include typical fast food restaurants or banks.

ah two sisters coffe in falls church --is it route seven (can't remember name) but you can drive through for coffe and a muffin and I have done a ton of times with sleeping baby. Also--Rite Aid on Lee Highway in Arlington has drive through pharmacy.

In PG and Charles Counties we have drive thru liquor stores also Some Starbucks and dry cleaners as well. If your picking up a prescription through the drive thru at CVS and want a bottle of aspirin or something they will get it for you as well.

On New Hampshire Ave. right outside the beltway, there is a drive thru dry cleaners. I forget the name, but if you are going north on New Hampshire, it's the first one after Powder Mill Road.

At Harris Teeter, you can pick up your groceries in the drive through lane. You order online and pick up at your preset 30 minute window that same day. I love it! They bring it out and load it in your trunk. Sign in your driver's seat and away you go.

i've been dying for a drive through starbucks in dc...for those times when i have a sleeping baby in the car and want to let him sleep.

only the burger king on connecticut...can't think of anything else in dc. gas station, bank.

I don't drive through for groceries, but I do order Online from Giant or Safeway. I so far prefer Safeway because the prices are more in line with the actual store (Giant I think is a little pricier Online) and they do not accept tips. Plus, they often have coupons for free shipping. I was hesitant to do it, but it is great in a pinch. I still do most of my food shopping at the store because there are just things I forget or can't get when I order Online. I even once had Giant leave them in boxes when I wasn't home and they were all packed with dry ice! I had to keep the boxes to give back the next time, but if you do it often it wouldn't matter.

I also love drive through Starbucks. It's great when you have a sleeping baby and a dog in the car! There is one on Quince Orchard Rd. in Gaithersburg.

Drive thru liquor stores are great. It's a nice thing about living in PG county

I would love to have a drive through Dunkin Donuts, I much prefer them to Starsucks. I don't know what it is about Starbucks coffee, but it is always pasty towards the bottom of the cup, and I much prefer my coffee silt free.
