Way too overcrowded? Where do they go afterwards? Think we are looking to buy a house near ncces but after the fo they go straight to ncces or do they go to cces. So confused. Then what high school??

Some kids go RHPS-NCC-Silver Creek MS-B-CC HS

Other kids go RHPS-CCES-Silver Creek-B-CC

If your house is near NCC ES then your kids would go to a Rosemary Hills and then NCC. They would never go to CCES. But the lines near Rosemary Hills of who goes to NCC and who goes to CCES I don’t know. Go to the MCPS School Locator tool if you want to be sure. You can put in an address and find out the school assignment.

Rosemary Hills is not overcapacity, nor is it projected to be. Neither is NCCES.

No, it is not overcrowded. Classes are average size for MoCo public schools. For my second DC they were smaller than my first DC. We have been happy with all schools in the cluster so far.

We have a 2nd Fraser there this year.

Definitely not overcrowded. They add an 8th class as needed for each grade. For us it was 20 kids/class in K, 25/class in 1st, and 23/class in 2nd. They had 8 classes for K, 7 for 1st, and 8 again for 2nd. Just depends on how many kids enroll each year as to whether there are 7 or 8 classes in the grade.

Though not overcrowded, it is a big school. In particular, recess and lunch can be overwhelming for some kids. It’s 180-200 kids altogether with minimal supervision 4-5 adults).

After RHES, half the kids go to CCES and the other half to NCC. You can check the MCPS website to see which one your house is zoned to. From my understanding, most people prefer both these schools to RHES.
