Anyone have any suggestions for snow appropriate winter boots? I usually wear my timberland hiking boots but would like something with a little more style!
Maybe a little extreme but the great designers like Chanel and Dior do fabulous apres-ski boots. I know, I know, too expensive but they sure are stylish. I've had mine for 10 years.

I have these and really like them:

love the patagonia boots. does the salt from the snow stain the boots at all?
Honestly, I just got them, so I've worn them only a couple of times. BUt so far, so good. And the reviews on Zappos were great--lots of people saying they wear them in snow and rain. |
Just saw some Juicy Couture boots which are very stylish!
I have these, and they're really comfortable. Good for taking the kids sledding: http://www.zappos.com/stuart-weitzman-coinage-brown-sport-suede
Not all of us are rich. I got great boot at kohl's. They are stylish, warm and keep out the cold.
any more affordable/stylish ones you can get online?
I'm surprised by the suede. Everything I've ever owned that was suede or suede-ish looking always got messed up and scuffed easily even without snow.
I was at DSW Shoe Warehouse a couple of weeks back, and they had a large selection of cute boots. I got a pair of suede, faux-fur lined boots that are really comfortable and are warm and waterproof in the snow (can't remember the brand). The suede dried out just fine, although I needed to wash the outside to get rid of the salt. After this last snow, I'm betting that their inventory is depleted, though.
I WANT THIS FOR X-MAS NEXT YEAR! |
