Falls Church, VA Daycare Recommendations

Hi! New mom trying to figure out the whole daycare situation. Looking for recommendations and any guidance on how to find options near me (I live near west falls church metro station). Also, do people split daycare slots since part time daycare seems to not be a thing? As in 1 person takes 2 days and another takes 3 days? Do daycare allow that and how do I find someone interested in that?

Check out infant toddler system of in home daycares-there are a lot of providers in falls church and you can find providers who accept part time kids. We used it for both of my kids and it was a great experience!

In most daycares, you dont split slots. You might if you used a nanny share. Anyways, the Virgnia Social Services website is a good resource for licensed childcare. My daughter's daycare is near Bailey's Crossroads and the lady specializes in infants and young toddlers. I've included her info below if you're interested

Easter seals is great in Falls Church. My son went there until we moved.

Do you need 5 days or you want 3 days. An in home provider might let 2 people split one spot of you arranged it.

We liked Janet Longmire at 5th and Lombardy in Boulevard Manor. If you are driving to/from Ballston or into DC, it’s convenient.
