Favorite low calorie dressing

Anonymous
I am tracking my calories very carefully, and am looking for a low calorie (which probably means low fat also) dressing. I am not looking for diet advice - just for a dressing that tastes good.
Thank you!

When I don't make a real dressing, I like a high quality extra virgin olive oil sprinkled on salad, followed by aged balsamic vinegar or a squeeze of lemon, plus salt and pepper to taste. For local purchasing, trader Joe's has good balsamic and I like their Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Fyi I used to skip the oil, but read how it helps you absorb the nutrients from the salad better.

Boathouse Farms yogurt based Classic Ranch. Tastes rich and creamy. We even use it on baked potatoes in place of sour cream and chives.

Annie’s is pretty tart and has tahini. It’s not like the others suggested here which are more creamy/herby.

I think the Trader Joe's one tastes like a zesty, light guacamole. It's only 20 calories/serving, so I feel pretty good about using a hefty amount of dressing (3 or so servings) to coat everything.

Recently - I have been flavored balsamics.

I have a bottle of Cape Cod Cranberry Pear that I am enjoying right now.

Ken's Steakhouse Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Dressing Lite.

Hands down. The reason I eat salads. SO GOOD.

I like the Bolthouse blue cheese. The cilantro avocado is nice as well.
