| When buying a used vehicle, did you care about interior and exterior colors or did you buy whatever was available with other features you wanted within your price range? |
| I had “deal breaker” colors and colors I was open to. |
| The colors we would not consider were (and still are) white, gray, silver, black, gold. |
So red yellow green or blue are ok??? |
These are the only colors most people would consider. |
I know! Funny. I suppose they are the people that get those purple cars. |
| Didn't want a black exterior bc it looks dirty so fast (especially in winter). But we were pretty flexible otherwise. |
Yes!! Of course. Why not? Right now we have a red and two blues. Over the past 27 years we have had blues, reds, and a couple of greens. |
The question was asked and I answered it. I think the "most people" part is why we like the other colors. Go to any parking lot or sit at a light and it is almost nothing but black, gray or silver. Meh. |
Purple actually wouldn't be bad on the right car. Here is a cool blue. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2019/10/2020-chevrolet-bolt-ev-in-oasis-blue-live-photo-gallery/ How about Lime Twist, Pulse Red or Sunset Orange? https://www.coastalhyundai.com/blog/2019-hyundai-kona-exterior-color-options/ Or solar yellow! https://www.friendlykia.com/blog/2020-kia-soul-color-options/ |

My current used car I got I was basically trying to replicate my previous car, only newer. So I really wanted one color - navy - but the interior on the one I got was different, I got a great price and most of the features I wanted but no sunroof.
Previous used car to that is a fun convertible. We checked out a bunch of colors but limited the most by wanting a manual. Ended up with black. |

Yes, I wanted a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle convertible with (1) fire engine red exterior, (2) tan top, (3) automatic transmission, (4) an engine that started with a turn of the key, (5) less than 30,000 miles, and (6) an auxiliary port for the car stereo because you can take away my mp3 player from my cold dead hands.
That was my non-negotiable wish list, and I got all six. Saw the car on cargurus, an off-lease trade-in that was sitting on a lot in New Jersey. Took Amtrak up on Monday, walked into the dealership off the street, pointed to the car, and said that's the one. Test drove it for all of one-tenth of a mile. Didn't haggle price. Returned early yesterday morning with the cash and they handed me the keys. |
| The only two colors I didn't want were black and gray/silver. Black is too hot in the summer and gray / silver blend into the color of the roadway and are less visible by other drivers. |
Don't forget Crosstrek Orange! Which I would never consider, but blue or green? Absolutely. In fact, I filter out all black and white when searching, and most silver/grays as well. --NP |
| I will only get red/blue. Would love pink or another color. I also will not do white, tan, grey, silver, black or anything bland. |
