Another opinion on boy name?

Any thoughts on the name Marshall for a boy? I like the name in full, but worried about nicknames/how it could be shortened. Appreciate any thoughts.

Not my style but nothing wrong with it. I can't really think of what the nicknames would be - are you worried he'll be called Marshy or something?

Love it. Pregnant now and that's the middle name. We liked the association with George Marshall since our first house was next to the Marshall house in Leesburg.

I went to Marshall University so I love it - really wanted it as a middle name for DS2 but it was DH's "turn" to pick and he went with something else. School was named for John Marshall, Chief Justice.

I would think he might get called "Marsh," but that's kind of cool. I guess he might also get called Marshmallow.
