I initially agreed with PR person. In fact, at first, I was kind of rooting for her to apologize and then pull it together and re-emerge as a celebrity. I'd never heard of her until this thread, and she does have a lot going for her that would make her an interesting and fascinating celebrity.

But, her second act is... well, it's awful. She seems to revel in her status as a villain, she never apologized, she blamed the public for "misunderstanding" her. And now it's looking like the ethnicity lie is completely dwarfed by the "bounce back body" lie where she pretended to give birth while actually using a surrogate, and then posted Victoria's Secret Angels photos with lingerie and an underweight body days after giving birth.

Earlier in this thread when that came up, someone posted that regular pregnant women are "Fatty McFatpants" or something like that, and bragged that they only gained 9 pounds with each pregnancy because they are "ultra healthy." This is unhinged, especially when you consider the CDC guidelines which recommend gaining 25 pounds.

If you're promoting gaining below what's recommended by the medical community, you're actually harming people in the same way that anti Vax people are harming people. Not every knows the harms that can come from gaining too little during pregnancy, and they may look at a woman who promotes fitness and nutrition like Hilary as a role model. This isn't a harmless game; it's literally playing with the health outcomes of women and babies.

So while being a fake Spanish lady was kind of, maybe forgivable, if her backup persona is being an anorexic serial mom who fakes pregnancies and promotes incredibly harmful approaches to pregnancy, I don't think her redemption is neigh.

I sooo agree - if she just apologized for real in the beginning this really all would have gone away. Her doubling down is what kept her open to scrutiny. She made too many bad errors by having her kids her excuse to post all over IG. She’s shameless with posting them too. I am so locked down on social media with my kids- for their privacy- Heaven forbid a predator or creep tries to use my kids images (oh obv I am an infertile fat Karen too obviously lol- pr team- note- nobody I know wants 6 kids- we use in birth control! We have choices unlike our grandparents, great- grandparents....). If she just stopped herself from constant posting- the discrepancy of showing herself at a park, bending over her kids a day or 2 post- partum wouldn’t be scrutinized to be seen as a good chance she really didn’t carry kids after Carmen- as the way she moved is really not reality for any woman right after childbirth regardless of how in shape you are. She would either need a c-section or gave reg childbirth- no episiotomy ever? No pelvic issues? That’s such bs. Hi, so she still has waxelene as a sponsor, but that is it. She lost all other sponsors as I understand it. But b c of her Spanish heritage fraud she got about $10 million in cash from corporate sponsorships. None of that cash has been returned. And not one retraction from Alec Baldwin who has said to several media sources “my wife is from m Spain”
