Ideas for food/cake after a build-a-bear party

Anonymous
We're thinking of having a build-a-bear birthday party for my daughter's 6th bday at Montgomery Mall but they don't allow food or drinks in the store. Does anyone have an idea of where we can go for cake after the party? Needs to be somewhere in the mall.

Can’t you do the food court?

Would that work for potentially 25-30 kids and their parents?

I've been to a BAB party where some parents helped reserve tables together at the food court for after the event and the hosts brought cake. It was at an off time--3ish or so, so we weren't taking anyone's lunch tables. It works well!

You could go to the Cheesecake Factory.

It's hard to imagine 25 to 30 kids at a Build a Bear party. Are you insane?

Whoa. 30 kids at a build a bear party? Are you sure they don’t have a space limit? I think you need to cut down your guest list or find another venue. You can’t rent community center space and do bears there. My SIL got this shipped to her house and the kids loved it.

Food court or Invite every one back to your house. Serve cupcakes with teddy grahams popping out. I have also been to BAB parties where they just sing and present a cupcake or brownie to go at the end at the store.

That wouldn't work for Build a Bear or the food court. Time to try something else or cut the guest list.

We had a BAB party a few years ago and cut the cake at the seats just outside the store. Also in Montgomery mall. But our party was small, under 10 kids.

I feel like getting everyone back to the house would be a nightmare with 30 kids.

And they're 6, so it's 30 kids in carseats...and 30 cars that need to caravan back from the mall and park by your house. No thank you.

OP, are you sure you can have that many kids? I just went to the BAB party website for that location and you can only select up to 8 kids.

8 kids + 2 parents/family members each is 24 people, which is probably where OP is getting 25-30.

If it was OP, she said 25-30 kids AND their parents. Not going to work for BaB or the food court.
