Will I probably need a co-signer?

I’m currently a SAHM, but I’d like to purchase the car on my own if possible. DH would be the co-signer, but he currently has a loan on his vehicle and his motorcycle. We both have great credit scores, but I’m wondering if his debt will affect the interest rate we would get? When I purchased my last car, when I was working, I know they took our “household income” into account. Does my not working matter if the household income is high?

As long as you have a previous credit record, yes you out down the family income and it should be fine. It counts against your credit but not his.

I've had no issues but money is joint and they look at household. We always out both of us on but rotate who so we maintain our credit. But, we'll pay cash for our next car.

I do not co sign ANYTHING. I lost contact with a few people because they asked and I flat out said NO. It is not worth gambling your financial future. Jobs can be lost, illnesses can happen etc....

The car dealership didn't even ask where I worked or if I worked. They only looked at my credit score.
