| For my first baby I thought I went in somewhere late in the 5th week and already could see the heartbeat. Is that right? And then again at 8 weeks? |

during the 6th and the 8th week.
Generally 6w and change is the earliest that you'll actually see a heartbeat on vaginal ultrasound. The 5th is usually too early and you'll jsut see the yolk sack and fetal pole. I think with my first SG pregnancy I saw the heartrate at 6w3d. With this one I saw it at 6w0d (had the ultrasound at the cusp of 6 weeks due to scheduling issues). |

| 6w0d is the earliest they will do it. I had both at 6w exactly and then at 8w. |
