| Would love to hear about anyone’s recent experience with this organization for a mid-elementary age child. Thanks! |
| Coach mitch is yelly. |
|
I think he does a good job developing young players. The 6-8 years old program is good and convenient. All about ball control and small size games with no games on the weekend. Much better vs stoddert’s.
The thing is, the program is more of a travel lite program. Parents are more laid back- kids miss games and practice. As the kids age the better more serious kids leave to the well know travel clubs. |
| There is a lot to be said for travel lite. |
| I'd be interested in a club like this (i.e. travel lite) but comments about the coach and his attitude are kind of troubling. |
There is the owner and a few coaches there. They have one coach who is from Brazil and is an excellent coach. You would be extremely lucky to have your u9, u10 or u whatever kid coach by a quality coach like him. He is easily one of the top coaches in the area. |
| Can anyone provide more recent feedback on DCYFC--their organization, coaches, practice/game locations and schedule? We're in NW DC and considering it as a first foray into travel soccer for our U11 son, who has been playing in PPA's Developmental league for two seasons. |
| Reach out and ask if you can join a couple of practices. The game locations will differ depending on the level of the team (SAM vs EDP). Practice is typically in NW DC. |
Our two boys U10 and U12 both love it! Good environment, good coaches, players support each other. Highly recommend DCYFC. |
