Facial bleach

Anyone know if it is safe to bleach facial hair during the 3rd trimester?

I used to bleach my upper lip between waxing and my friend turned me on to Veet strips--they're wax, you just warm by rubbing your hands together with the strips between them.

I asked my ob when I first got pregnant and she said she suggested against it only because of the whole pigmentation changes when you're pregnant. I did it but felt extremely guilty every time. I would only leave it on for literally a few minutes, though and only do it sparingly. I would ask your ob and then go from there. Whatever you do, don't google it. You'll get all sides of the equation and make yourself crazy with worry- I speak from experience...

Can I use facial bleach just on my upper lip (it's on there for 5-8 minutes)? The box doesn't say anything that pregnant women shouldn't use. I'm at the end of my first trimester.
