Hi!
Most of the posts I’m seeing are a couple years old so figured I’d start a new one. Looking for reviews on daycares/preschools in Hyattsville. We’ll be moving next year when son is 4. He has been in daycare all his life. Any that have an emphasis on outdoor play? Looks like the ones I’m seeing are: Greenwood St Ann’s (confused by website. Says they take children up until 4. Son has late bday so won’t be starting K until he’s 6 so not sure if this is an option) Heritage Any others? Also does anyone have reviews on the child development center at UMD? Thank you! |
Hi! DD is currently at the IRS CDC in New Carrollton and I am very pleased. We also considered:
Themba, Lanham Loving 2 Learn, Hyattsville (wait list - infant room) Georgetown Hill USDA (Sunny Days), Riverdale Park (wait list - infant room) Tiny Town Early Learning Center, Riverdale Park We liked all of them but ultimately went with the IRS CDC. |
I know people with kids at the CYC at UMD and they have been very happy with it. My DCs went to the Greenwood School and we loved it, but the director of 30+ years retired and it’s been taken over by someone else so I can’t speak to what it’s like now.
There’s also a preschool at NASA Goddard that my friend’s kids go to but I don’t know what it’s called. |
