My kids (20 months and 4.5) have had diarrhea for 5 days. Is there anything I can do about it? They are drinking water and don’t seem dehydrated. My 2 year old has a very red bottom and my younger son seems normal aside from the sudden urges to go. Other than this, no other symptoms ... |
We had one gonfor 10 days last spring. Ped said it can go up to 14 and be considered within range of normal. She recommended probiotics. IPerhaps coincidence, I gave one dose and it cleared right up. |
Get this spray ASAP and wipe down every surface before you get it!!

We have this virus in our house -it's led to one kid barfing one x per day for like the last three weeks - and now diarrhea.. same as above. Ped said 14 days of barf and longer of diarrhea..I think we might be near the end.we've gone in twice and finally got some antinausea meds |
You might want to include clear broth to drink or chicken soup for electrolytes they loose. It is not only water they need to replenish but the other stuff that goes with it. Salt is one of them. Also maybe good organic fruit juices from jar or home made apple juice either raw if they can take it or boiled. Blueberries eaten raw in significant quantities often tend to plug the plumbing. |
