I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to my question, I can't seem to find the answer on the DCPS website.
If my child is currently enrolled at a school as an OOB student (lotteried in), and we move, does she still have the right to stay at her current school and it's feeder as an OOB student? Thanks! |
| Principals set the policy for their schools. In general this is allowed, but Deal is so overcrowded I would not count on it. |

Under the current rules \you can stay.
Your child's seat was secured as an OOB seat from the beginning. You didn't live IB when you enrolled, so moving to another OOB address is irrelevant. |
This, as long as the place your child moves is in DC. Or your child's parents are not married and one of them (regardless of who has custody) lives in DC. |
