One day a week nanny for 2 kids?

Hello-- our childcare situation is changing and I'm wondering whether it's at all feasible to find a one day a week nanny for an infant and toddler. If so, suggestions on where to look (and what the all-in cost might be)? Or is this just a bad idea? Thanks in advance!

This can be done! Usually because another family needs only 4 days a week etc. Try your neighborhood listserve.

Agency, and look specifically for Friday (if possible). Bunches of feds work 4 10 hour days mon-thurs, so it’s a lot easier to pick up Friday than something during the week.

This. Friday is the easiest day.

Mid-week would be very hard to find.
