Halloween events this Sunday?

I know Halloween is next week and we will be celebrating then but my kids like to do something the weekend before, too (their school doesn’t celebrate so weekend things are a way to wear their costume again, etc). However we have a family event on Saturday and I can’t find anything to do on Sunday that is Halloween-themed. Anyone have any ideas? We are in Silver Spring/Takoma Park area but anywhere in the District would work.

If you can't find any maybe you could do something at home? Cut out pumpkins? Have the kids color ghosts etc. Then make hot chocolate or hot cider?

Del Ray in Alexandria has their Halloween parade on Sunday

A lot of area churches are doing Trunk and Treats on Sunday night. I’m in Fairfax though, so check the churches near you.

Sherman Circle has a Halloween parade from 4-6 p.m. It includes 'seasonal fun and snacks'.
