iPhone7 wonky after update?

Yes! I have a 7+ and I am no longer able to access the Find My Friends app. And that is an app I use heavily when my kids are out and about. I am quite upset about it

The Find My Friends app and Find My Phone app that comes with the iPhone were combined into one app under the latest software update. It is called just "Find My" and should be in one of your folders. For me, it was in my "Extras" folder. The icon looks like a green bullseye with a small section in blue.

It now has limited compatibility with my car’s Bluetooth. I can answer calls, but not make them.

Just paid off my iPhone 7 after 2 years. I am taking a break from updates for now since the last time I did one everything slowed down and the battery drained faster. They want us to buy new phones, right??

Yes, my blue tooth broke for a few days, then I disconnected/reconnected from all paired devices and it worked again.

Mine wouldn't connect to cell service or data and the Apple store said there is a subset of iPhone 7s that have a defect with the SIM reader. They gave me a loaner and sent mine out for repair, all for free.

Just FYI — My daughter’s iPhone 7 started having similar issues mentioned (and would also randomly power off and die, even when the phone had a full charge), she is a sophomore in college out of state and this happened twice when she was walking home late at night from the subway station. When she took the phone to Apple, they said there was a recall on the iPhone 7 and said they would need to ship the phone out for repair. Estimated time to fix would be at least two weeks. She ended up upgrading to a new phone.

PP who just posted. Wanted to clarify that it was only after the update that her phone started having issues, but several weeks prior to the update, she mentioned her phone was running slow (particularly safari).
