Any thoughts on vw Tiguan?

| I thought this might be a good option for my daughter for an suv with awd that’s not too big. Then I saw the optional 3rd row and I thought it might be good for me too. (We only need the 3rd row a few times a year so a small one would be great). So any thoughts on this model? Or vw in general? Would anyone recommend getting one? I am mainly concerned with maintenance costs and how well it drives in snowy conditions. |

I have had 4 VWs. Including a Tiguan. Be sure to get 4 wheel drive and you will be fine. I prefer our atlas. But for a small SUV it’s good

| I bought a 2014 Tiguan for my daughter. It has been great so far, only routine maintenance and seems to be pretty good in the snow. |

| Don't keep it past the warranty. VWs will nickel and dime you to death on maintenance, especially if it starts getting electrical issues. |
