I like in MD- close in Bethesda. Thanks |
The new Indian market on Old Georgetown road sells them. |
where is that? I'm not sure i've been there! |
Party City has these: https://www.partycity.com/sparklers-8ct-238645.html
I would call the stores in MD though because I have been getting mixed messages about them being able to sell them in MD. You might have to drive to VA. |
Isn’t that against the law? |
I heard Costco sells fireworks for Diwali. |
Sparklers are dangerous. |
Not really - you keep a bucket of water nearby and after you are done, throw them in the water. I wouldn't do it in my backyard though. For something that is actually dangerous look at these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOTMenG78cI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEUFudoX7fQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppl4Jos0weM |
New poster- yes, they are dangerous: https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/sparklers-leading-fireworks-related-injuries-cpsc/story%3fid=56203951 https://www.chop.edu/news/health-tip/fireworks-and-sparklers-risks-children-are-real |
Life is dangerous. Have done sparklers for years with no issues. Not OP but the question was where to get them. |
Yes. Op needs to time travel to the 80's for sparklers to be a good idea. While you are there, pick up some Twinkies and candy cigarettes. |
Yer dumb |
![]() ![]() ![]() I do miss my 80s childhood! |
I buy online from BuySparklers.com
MoCo has strict regulations about it. We light them on our driveway for Diwali. And we have we lay them in a designated area to cool it have a bucket of water nearby to dunk into. For local purchase, you can get it in Virginia. |
Illegal in Montgomery County. Even in Bethesda.
In @MontgomeryCoMD , ALL FIREWORKS (basically anything that will burn, fly, or explode) are ILLEGAL to possess or discharge including SPARKLERS. Snap-and-pop, noise makers, snakes & party poppers are OK & the ONLY exception to law.
