When do you get the class list for K?

Does this differ by school in DCPS? I’m wondering if we get parents contact info some time in the summer of the K class - so I can try to make some play dates to help my painfully shy DC.

You likely won't get the class list that early, but many schools have summer playdates for the younger kids.

Sign up for the school's newsletter and follow the school and PTO on social media to stay informed.

Class lists come out late - maybe 2-3 weeks before school starts, although it varies by school.

If the list came out earlier it would subject the principal to endless lobbying for teacher / class changes.

Parent contact info will not come with the class list either.

You will get them the first week of August. There will be playdates scheduled as well. Calm down. It's October.
