Thinking about buying a used car. Carfax report says vehicle involved in a accident red flag to buy???

what kind of accident. fender bender, or one where the airbags deployed.

Anonymous
Yes.

Purchase a vehicle w/a 100% clean title.

It may be tough and expensive to insure a vehicle if it was in an accident prior.

nope Id walk away....

so that means the car ran into a fixed object at 8-14 MPH, or a parked car at 16-28 mph or some sort of a swidewipe or offset collision hard and fast enough to trigger the airbag.

Dealer decided to take $3,000 off sticker price because of it.. Car runs fine, mechanically inspected for shoddy work as well. Doesn't rattle like some other accident cars I've driven.

Have it put on a lift and inspect that the frame isn't bent.
