| Or are all of the schools public? |
| In true socialism everybody goes to public school where you get private school education. |
| Most of the Nordic countries do not have secular private schools. |
| In true socialism, everyone is treated the same and nobody has anything that isn't also given to the others. So no. |
| Define true socialism first. |
LOL I grew up in the USSR. |
Thsts communism. |
| Don't tell the folks at GDS or Sidwell. |
| There’s no such thing as “true” socialism. Socialism is an in-between state between capitalism and communism. In “true” or pure communism there probably wouldn’t be any private schools but socialism is in between and can mean many different things. People here generally call most of Europe “socialist” especially the health care system, but many countries have private health care options in addition to the national health service/government health care. There’s no one thing that is “true” socialism. It’s a hybrid. |

No. Socialism is the ideal and unfortunately Communism is the interpretation and twisting of the idea.
But to answer your question OP, no of course there would not be one type of school in a truly socialist society there would be "education for all" in the truest sense. |
| Where is there "true" socialism, OP? |
Cuba |
| And you don’t really have to be entirely socialist to frown on private schools. As mentioned, in Scandinavia, Germany, much of Asia — places with very high achievement — private schools don’t really exist. They exist in places with highly defined class structures and high income inequality. |
yes they exist in these places and the richest from these areas you mention, will be sending their kids to privates in Switzerland and the uk |
| All the schools are public. |
