What is High School Nation?

What was that event at Blair today? My child opted out but said there was trash all over afterwards from free give away and soccer games had to be cancelled because the field was a mess.

Does anyone know how we complain about the High School Nation program so that it never happens again at any school in the county? The program was a big marketing job. Both my kids came home saying how horrible it was and that they were inflicted by this just so the school could make some money. Apparently, HSN is paying at least half the cost for a new studio at the school (at least according to my teens).

My child went to the library instead which was so full she ended up out in the hall but said it looked like there had been a massive food fight with chips everywhere.

Apparently, the soccer field was so trashed they had to postpone a soccer game. And my child also tried to go to the media center, but it was so packed that there was no way. So he and his friends just tried to find a place to hang out in some shade.

They should have just told the kids it was like a time share pitch. You’re gonna sit there and be minimally polite for 2-3 hours so you get the free stuff. You’re not gonna like it but it won’t kill you, and we need the equipment.
