Emory, Pitt, and CaseWestern med schools interms of acceptance and the quality of education? Anyone care to chime in? TIA
They are all good schools. Go to the one you get into. All are competitive.
I wouldn't pay full-fees for private unless I were rich. Your debt load will determine your specialty.
Wait til the acceptances are in lol.
Not sure about Med schools but I thought any accredited US med school has acceptance level around 1.5%, more difficult to get in than Harvard undergrad. Any acceptance is an accomplishment.

Maryland outranks all of the schools you listed on the US News and World Report list of primary medicine medical schools. (There is a separate one for research--some says this matters more.)
https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-medical-schools/primary-care-rankings?_mode=table But really all medical schools in the U.S. are good. If you are a Maryland resident you will save a lot of money by going in state. Where you go to medical school matters less than where you do your residency in terms of prestige within your specialty. |
I guess if you want to go into primary care
It’s the best of them all because I would be able to pay in state tuition.
it's excellent
??????? Makes zero sense. Plenty of people from UMD specialize. |
