Pre-school Nature Programs in Alexandria

My nephew recently participated in the Nature Play program at Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center in Alexandria. The program was awesome, I believe it is open to ages 2-5 and my little one is too young for their programs but there is a children's library, small puppet stage, and tons of animals! There is also a beautiful trail along a stream that's stroller-friendly. Many of the programs require you to pre-register, but this one allowed walk-in registration. They are open to the public Wednesday-Saturday from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday 1pm to 5pm. Their website is alexandriava.gov/NatureCenter. I will definitely be returning and I look forward to enrolling my LO in their nature programs!
