We are moving to the Rockville area this months. I’m almost 7 months pregnant. I’m with MFA and GW practice now but wonder if I should switch to a closer hospital. Not sure what to do. Any recommendations and advise is very welcome!
I live in Aspen Hill near Rockville and work in the area, and am planning to deliver at GW since I am with GW in Bethesda. I like my doctor and didn't want to switch. Definitely wouldn't want to try to switch so late in my pregnancy.
I live in White Oak and work in Bethesda. I went to the Bethesda GW MFA office for everything during my pregnancy (OB, MFM, all ultrasounds, labwork). The only time I went to Foggy Bottom was to actually go into the hospital. Unless you're prone to precipitous labor, or really want to have your baby at a hospital very close to where you live (in which case, your best options are Shady Grove or Holy Cross), I would recommend staying with MFA.

Same...live in Rockville and go to the Bethesda office (GW). Plenty of parking. Love my doctor.

Op here. Thank you all! I was so conflicted about changing. I love MFA practice and drs. I’ll be induced a week early so it shouldn’t be anything out of ordinary. And I guess Bethesda office is not that far. I guess if there is an emergency I can always go to a closer hospital. Thanks for helping me decide!
I see Dr. Leslie Masiky with Capital Women's Care in Rockville. I have been with her for 10 years now. She is awesome.
I live in Rockville and have an OB/GYN in Bethesda. I delivered at Sibley. If you like your practice stay with them.
