PSA for people with reflux babies- Zantac is not going to be produced any more.

Zantac is no longer going to be manufactured due to carcinogenic risks. This article says the amounts of the carcinogenic distance are tiny- the amount that would be in foods, but it is nonetheless no longer going to be produced. |

Your own link says "The manufacturer of Zantac, a division of Novartis, has reportedly decided to halt distribution of the drug until the issue is resolved."
That doesn't mean it's no longer going to be produced. It means production is being halted and might or might not resume, based on where FDA ends up. Also, already a thread on this: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/827978.page#15682448 |
