Help! Need new haircut

Or different haircut.

I'm 48 and my hair is light blonde. It's fairly thick, and not straight, and currently in a boring shoulder length bob-ish cut. Basic and boring. My face shape is fairly square, and I look my age (unlike everyone else on DCUM ) but would like a haircut that is flattering.

Can any of you that are so good at posting pics and helping out please post some suggestions for me? I want to go shorter. Short or shorter, I'm open.

What does not straight mean — wavy? curly?

Wavy if I air dry it. Straight only with a flat iron, which is tedious and not that effective in the constant heat and humidity we have around here. I think my hair texture has likely changed as grey has gotten mixed into the blonde (not visibly though).

19:03 is a cute cut, but looks to me like I'd have to straighten it and then add the wave or volume back in. Labor intensive, one of htose cuts that look great when the stylist does it, but not when you do it at home.
