I've been wearing a red peacoat a lot this season. I bought a new crossbody bag over the weekend but am having second thoughts on the cover. I bought this in navy blue: http://www.zappos.com/franco-sarto-big-top-crossbody-with-coin-purse-and-umbrella
I really like this style better, though (in leather) http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7578764/c/423.html. I'm a big fan of color and loved the raspberry and green, but feel both would look horrible with my red coat (and I haven't seen this style in navy blue - not interested in the cream color). I want to use this as an every day bag, though, so maybe I can just live with the clashing colors for a couple of months? Thoughts? |
| First one looks fine. Didn't see the exact navy though. The zappos one did not come through. |

Whoops - OP here. The other style is like this, only in leather- http://www.zappos.com/franco-sarto-over-the-rainbow-crossbody-with-snap-in-case-umbrella-khaki
I just think it's less frumpy looking. I really need a crossbody bag with lots of compartments for everyday use, and don't want anything much big than these styles. (The bag I already bought, but haven't used and could still return, isn't listed online in the navy blue - I picked it up at Macy's - http://www.zappos.com/franco-sarto-big-top-crossbody-with-coin-purse-and-umbrella) |
| *much BIGGER, rather |
| I like the first one. |
| I like the first one better as well. I don't think it looks frumpy at all. I especially like the reddish color. I personally don't care of the second one at all. |
Same here. Although I'm sure that navy is nice, too. The rust would probably clash with your coat. |
