We are in a holiday gift exchange and got assigned a 14 year old boy who loves Marvel (fav characters being Black Panther, Iron Man and Hulk), Star Wars, video games and board games. He also enjoys playing chess and trivia games. Since I haven't a clue the video systems he has video games are out (you'd think if the parent was listing video games they would list the platforms...). We have an 8 year old girl so literally no clue as to what to get him.
Thoughts/Suggestions? Budget should be around $20-$30. |
| Is it a surprise to the parents that you have their son or do they know? I am asking because I would ask them for more specifics. Failing that, I would get a gift card. |
Parents do not know who got their child. Definitely needs to be something and not a gift card. -- OP |
| Since he likes board games, a Marvel or Star Wars version of a popular game might work. |

+1 it's beautifully done. |
Not OP, but thank you for this—adding it to my Christmas shopping list for my 12yo daughter. She loved the Star Wars encyclopedias for years, but has moved on to stuff like Marvel, graphic novels, comics, anime, etc. She'll love this! |
