Due in 3 weeks with sharp upper tummy pain with tightening

Is it possible to get Braxton Hicks only in your upper tummy? The pain is sharp and very painful. I went in to the hospital last night and they found no reason for the pain. It's still horrible when it hits which is usually at night when I am lying down. Baby also moves a lot during the pain and tightening.

Are these contractions?

It could be some separation near the sternum. Is that where it hurts? I had terrible pains there. Felt like I was being torn and couldn't take deep breaths.

I've tried everything and nothing makes it go away. It just eventually stops.

Where is it specifically? If it is in the upper right quadrant of your belly you should got to L&D to be sure it is not HELLP.
